Sometimes it is necessary to slow down. To return to what has not yet been fully felt or integrated. To gently welcome what has been set aside. And to allow a more peaceful, more coherent way of being to emerge – one that is more open to the humanity that every difficult passage carries within it.
These sessions are aimed at people going through difficult periods or life crises, and offer emotional support that respects each individual's pace and history.
Trauma-sensitive emotional support
My approach is sensitive to individual, intergenerational and collective trauma.
It is part of an approach that respects each person's pace, body and intelligence.
I provide support by creating a space for presence, emotional regulation and attentive listening.
A place where what has been set aside, frozen or interrupted can gradually be welcomed back and find movement again, in a safe and gentle environment.
Who are these 1-1 sessions for?
These sessions are for people going through a difficult period or a crisis in their lives. A time when something is falling apart, being reorganised, or needs to be looked at differently.
It may be a relationship, existential or professional crisis, a health-related upheaval, emotional exhaustion, or a vague feeling of losing one's bearings. Often, the people I work with are already sensitive to their inner world, but feel the need for a safe environment to get through this transition.
What I offer in sessions
One-on-one sessions provide a safe space to welcome whatever is present, just as it is.
We pay particular attention to the body, the nervous system and emotions in order to support internal regulation and the gradual understanding of the experience.
There is no imposed technique or predefined path. Each session is tailored to what is relevant to you, respecting your pace and your limits.

This trauma-sensitive emotional support is offered in 1-1 online sessions as well as in 1-1 in-person sessions in Leiden. Free guided meditations are also available to learn more about my approach.

Depending on what emerges, we may focus our attention on the body, breathing, the nervous system, or the emotional and relational realm. Sometimes, an image, a sensation or a moment of presence is enough to pave the way for a subtle and lasting transformation.
Embracing your defence mechanisms
For 20 years, I have been supporting people through sensitive times, respecting their pace and the vital defences they have put in place. Recognising these mechanisms with kindness paves the way for greater inner security and integration.
